My life

Wedding anniversary

Today we’re celebrating two years as a married couple. I have such fond memories of our wedding. One of the best days of my life! Not only because I got to marry the best man in the world, but also because our friends and family made it sucha fantastic day. The only regret I have is that I never sent out any Thank You cards. I feel so embarrassed for that. I just never got around to it. And now, two years later, it feels like the ship has sailed, right? Feels so wrong that I never thanked everyone though for making it such a beautiful and special day. If you had any part in our wedding, and you’re reading this – please know that we are so thankful that you shared it with us. ❤

Good morning Monday!

For some reason I woke up in a great mood today. Even though I didn’t get much sleep at all. But the sun was shining through the windows and Sally woke up with a smile so it felt like a fantastic morning. Now I’m enjoying my breakfast with a new tea I got from my friends yesterday. It’s from an organic Scandinavian tea brand called NUTE. I got the Rose & Berry tea which is made from blackcurrant and rose petals. So good!

Ready for the day

Sally and I are dressed and ready for the day. I borrowed Modou’s shirt today, because I had absolutely nothing to wear. Have to go shopping someday. But not today. Today we’re going for a walk and then we’re going for coffee with one of my friends.

By the way, if you haven’t already, check out my YouTube channel! My plan is to vlog every Sunday. I’m also making beauty videos, if you’re interested in that. See you there!

Sushi lunch

My friend Linda texted me this morning and asked if I wanted to have lunch with her. Of course I did! We decided on sushi. Sushi is the best food to eat when you have to have a baby in your lap, since you can eat it witg just one hand.

Out in the sun

We had such a fantastic day today. Two new friends, who I met through a course for new parents, came over for coffee. It was such a lovely sunny day so we decided to sit outside. We brought out the baby gym for our babies so that we could have our hands free for a little while. Sally enjoyed the weather a lot and fell fast asleep in the fresh air.

Cozy Sunday morning

Was trying to capture just how cozy this morning is, but I don’t know if I managed. But trust me, having a baby sleeping soundly on your chest is the best way to start your day. And on top of that I had fresh baked waffles and coffee for breakfast. Perfect morning!
